This is the most popular aperitif in France, and the family is proud of it. The idea originated in the heart of Paris, where small bars and cafés served a wide variety of sparkling wines. These were usually not of high quality, and Jean Marc felt it was time for a change. He searched France for the best vineyards to create a rival to the renowned Champagne. This led to the birth of Café de Paris, a tribute to the beautiful city where many glasses of sparkling wine are enjoyed daily. Today, the Café de Paris winery has grown enormously and has conquered the streets of many French cities.

The harvest of the six grape varieties

Six grape varieties are grown for this white version, Blanc de Blancs Brut: Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and of course, Ugni Blanc. These are grown throughout France because each grape variety wants to preserve its own character. A unique blend of the finest grapes makes this Café de Paris Blanc de Blancs Brut truly shine. Each grape variety is harvested separately and then processed into this Café de Paris Blanc de Blancs Brut. The winemaker at Café de Paris creates a consistent and unique blend every year, revealing the refinement of this wine. The Champagne region is in for a treat.

The aroma and taste of the Café de Paris Brut

The bottle alone gives us a true French feeling, and we quickly remove the Champagne cork. It immediately releases a lovely, fresh aroma of apple, lime, and a hint of freshly baked bread. The soft bubbles create a cheerful image in the glass. It scents the glass, giving us impressions of apple, grapefruit, apricots, and some fresh green herbs. On the palate, the palate is pampered by a fresh attack of white fruit with a hint of citrus. On the cheeks, nuances of apple and mint balance everything out.
