400 years of passion at Tedeschi
The Tedeschi style, connected to the territory, with native vines, and with the most innovative production methods, emerged in the 1960s when Lorenzo Tedeschi had the intuition to vinify the grapes from the Monte Olmi vineyard separately, resulting in one of Valpolicella's first crus. Today, work in the vineyard and cellar is overseen by Riccardo, Antonietta, and Sabrina, pioneers throughout the region of healthy and environmentally friendly viticulture, perfectly combining old family traditions with science and new technologies. Their distinctive wines are the result of 400 years of intense passion and research in their Valpolicella vineyards.
Harvest begins in late August or early September, followed by rigorous selection. After destemming and pressing, alcoholic fermentation takes place for six days at a controlled temperature of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. The wine is then bottled and aged for four months in the bottle.
