Producer Bodegas Anadas

A beautiful glass of Spanish wine from Care. It immediately stands out with its elegant aromas. This is a truly high-quality wine, distinguished by its complex palate. The grapes come from select vineyards located at an altitude of 450 meters. The vines are approximately 10 to 40 years old and are planted in diverse soil types, resulting in a red wine with a beautiful, unique character.

Modern and innovative Care wines

One of the oldest family-owned wineries in the DO Cariñena region is Anadas. Founded in 1935, the winery primarily focuses on the Garnache grape. The range is known as CARE. This project, founded in 2000, takes its name from the ancient Roman name for Cariñena. It's an innovative project focused on high-quality wines produced with the utmost care. Each label features a face, reflecting the sun and the soil of the wine. The work of artist Enrique Torrijos offers a glimpse into the wine's history, while also ensuring the bottles are beautifully presented.

Manual harvest for Care Carinena Cariñena Nativa

The powerful Cariñena Nativa is made from 100 percent Carignan grapes. The vines are planted in limestone, slate, and gravel soils. Once the grapes are perfectly ripe, they are harvested individually by hand, without the aid of heavy machinery. After harvesting, they are taken to the winery as soon as possible. Here, the Carignan grapes are sorted and crushed. Fermentation follows in wooden barrels at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine is aged for eight months in oak barriques. This Care Carinena Nativa has a beautiful purple color and a delightful aroma with hints of blueberry, mulberry, plum, and blackcurrant. This aroma later blends with floral, toasted, and spicy nuances from the oak aging. The palate is smooth and broad, with a long, lingering finish and good freshness.
