Casa Silva is more than just a winery. In 1997, a long-held dream of the Silva family came to fruition: capturing their deep love for the Colchagua Valley in an exclusive wine under their own label. However, their winemaking tradition began even earlier, when Frenchman Emilio Bouchon and his family began making wine in this region in 1892. As pioneers of the Colchagua Valley, they paved the way. And in 1997, Mario Pablo Silva, the eldest son of the fifth generation, decided to passionately create wines under their own Casa Silva label, including the remarkable Casa Silva Pinot Noir Reserva.

The Refined Maturation of Casa Silva Pinot Noir Reserva

Every grape used in the Casa Silva Pinot Noir Reserva comes directly from Casa Silva's vineyards, guaranteeing impeccable quality. These grapes are lovingly hand-picked in March. They are then cold-soaked for 12 days at 6°C, followed by 18 days of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, allowing the Pinot Noir's fruity character to fully develop. A full 70% of this wine is then aged in French oak barrels for four months, while the rest remains in stainless steel.
