Reyve Brut Champagne is produced in the heart of Avize. The impressive Union de Champagne cellars produce these high-quality Champagnes. The cellars are located several meters underground, where the wine matures under perfect temperature conditions according to the renowned "méthode traditionnelle" (traditional method).
The best sparkling wines from Champagne de Reyve
Reye Champagne is produced by Union Champagne, a Champagne cooperative that owns a significant portion of the Champagne region's finest vineyards. The Union Champagne cooperative boasts no fewer than 1,200 hectares of vineyards, all cultivated with varietals used to produce the world's finest sparkling wine. Many of the grapes are planted in the villages of Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Ambonnay. Union Champagne is a partnership of 15 small cooperatives from 13 of the most prestigious villages, all of which hold Premier Cru or Grand Cru status. Reye Brut is the result of the collaborative efforts of a group of winegrowers who own vineyards planted in "grands" and "premier crus."
The Reyve Brut is a blend of the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are grown in vineyards in the Cotes des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and Vallée de la Marne. Only the very best grapes are selected for Reyve Brut Champagne. During the vinification process in the magnificent Union Champagne cellar, nothing is left to chance and the process is meticulously monitored. It is produced according to the traditional Champagne method, with the second fermentation taking place in the bottle.
An elegant Champagne from Champagne de Reyve
The result is magnificent. A light golden yellow color seduces you from the first sip. We smell aromas of white flowers, brioche, and citrus. The palate is wonderfully elegant and delicate, exactly what you would expect from a de Reyve Brut Champagne. The long, smooth finish completes the taste sensation. Delicious as an aperitif or for festive occasions.
