Single-vineyard Champagne from the Meurtet vineyard, located directly behind the cellars in Aÿ. This Hommage is 100% Pinot Noir and focuses on purity, finesse, and length, with a cool terroir that creates a beautiful, vibrant acidity. What does single-plot mean in Champagne? It's a cuvée from a specific plot, in this case Meurtet, so you can taste the character of that location with crystal clarity.
France, Champagne, Aÿ. Meurtet is situated on a southeast-facing slope directly behind the house and is divided into two parcels. The Pinot Noir vines were planted since 1990. The cooler microclimate adds tension and refreshes the ripe fruit, with a youthful blend of red and white fruit in the glass.
Made as a single-varietal Pinot Noir using the classic méthode traditionnelle. The style focuses on precision and texture, preserving purity, mineral tension, and length. The result is a Champagne that is already charming and can also age beautifully. Serve at 8–10°C.
