Chateau Le Crock boasts a total of 32 hectares of vineyards, each boasting a unique terroir. This terroir consists of surface sand and clay, as well as pebbles and minerals. These distinctive characteristics contribute to the soil's ability to retain heat, drain, and provide a natural water reserve. Spread across three distinct parcels, the vineyards all enjoy exceptional richness and aromatic diversity. The proximity of the Gironde estuary acts as a refreshing breeze, cooling the bunches, resulting in a long ripening period. The grapes used for this Le Crock Saint-Estèphe are traditional Médoc varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Under the guidance of Jonathan Servant, the chateau's winemaker, the grapes are truly brought out to their full potential.

Once ripe, the grapes are harvested by hand. Each plot undergoes its own harvest and is transported to Château Le Crock in the morning. This allows the winemaker to create a unique blend for this powerful Saint-Estèphe. The entire wine is aged for a full 18 months in French oak barrels under the supervision of Yoann Lavigne, the house cellar master. During this period, some of which is unused, the wine matures beautifully. It develops flavors and aromas reserved only for the very best. Upon pouring this red wine, we see a beautiful deep red color with a slight purple rim. It smells like a beautiful classic Saint-Estèphe, abundant black fruit with notes of vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, cocoa, and some ripe plums. The palate is full and powerful and will continue to develop, but already reveals beautiful nuances of plums, cherries, ripe spices, and vanilla. This top-quality wine can be kept for up to 20 to 25 years after harvest. The wine will be shipped in a pack of 6 bottles in the original crate. Once the crate is opened, it cannot be returned.
