This blended wine comes from Valreas, part of the Côtes du Rhône Villages region. Marsanne, Viognier, and Rousanne grapes are grown in the northern part, giving this trio its particularly rich aromas. The Viognier grapes contribute floral notes, while the Marsanne grapes provide the perfect amount of acidity, keeping the wine beautifully balanced. Enjoy this delicious wine from France's premier wine country.
Passionate wines from Clos Bellane
Stephane Vedeau is a passionate winemaker who heads no fewer than three wineries. Clos Bellane is a high-altitude winery that produces top-quality wines. With a total of 48 hectares, he cultivates various grape varieties for high-quality red and white wines. Thanks to this location, the grapes benefit primarily from the warm morning sun, allowing them to ripen evenly and retain their wonderful freshness. The limestone soils also contribute to this freshness.
The grapes are harvested rigorously and entirely by hand when they reach optimal ripeness. A second selection then takes place in the winery. State-of-the-art equipment is used throughout the entire vinification process. The grapes are examined, and based on their character, it is determined whether they will be vinified in stainless steel, concrete, or oak. The Marsanne, Viognier, and Rousanne are vinified separately and blended after a meticulous process.
Enjoy the aromas of Clos Bellane Valreas Blanc
All the charms of Valreas are reflected in the elegance of this white wine. A beautiful, clear color in the glass. The nose evokes floral, citrus, exotic fruit, and mineral notes. Let the wine dance in the glass for a moment, and lemony, spicy notes will emerge. On the palate, this Valreas Blanc is exceptionally fresh, wonderfully rich, slightly oily, and has just the right amount of volume.
