Stephane Vedeau is a passionate winemaker who heads no fewer than three wineries. Clos Bellane is a high-altitude winery that produces top-quality wines. With a total of 48 hectares, he cultivates various grape varieties for high-quality red and white wines. Thanks to this location, the grapes benefit primarily from the warm morning sun, allowing them to ripen evenly and retain their wonderful freshness. The limestone soils also contribute to this freshness. The grapes are harvested rigorously and entirely by hand when they reach optimal ripeness. A second selection then takes place in the winery. State-of-the-art equipment is used throughout the entire vinification process. The grapes are examined, and based on their character, it is determined whether they will be vinified in stainless steel, concrete, or oak. The Marsanne, Viognier, and Rousanne are vinified separately and blended after a meticulous process.
