Description
This beautiful family winery is still family-run; Piero and Francesca, along with their sons Gian Nicola and Pierfranco, are in charge of the day-to-day operations. The sons, of course, were brought up with the trade, as their parents are proud of their achievements. After fifty years, it is one of the most renowned wineries in the Roero region. It was even Cornarea that replanted the white Arneis grape in the area in 1975, after it had become extinct elsewhere. This success did not go unnoticed, as many wineries followed suit, but Cornarea proved to be the finest. This white Terre Dei Ro is the second wine from Cornarea Roero Arneis. An entry-level wine—well, we can't really call it that—but it is nevertheless exceptional and offers excellent value for money.
The harvest of the Roero Arneis Terre Dei Ro
The vineyards face east, southeast, northeast, and west. Situated at an altitude of 280 meters, they enjoy a perfect climate. The abundant sunshine allows the Arneis grapes to ripen, and the fresh mountain breeze provides ample cooling. This mix of warmth and coolness contributes to a top-notch harvest. Once ripe, the grapes are aged for several months on the lees. This special technique gives the wine more body and structure, and we're definitely noticing the difference. The aroma and taste of the white Cornarea wine
The aroma reveals soft notes of white blossom, pear, pineapple, and passion fruit. These aromas are also clearly present in the taste. The attack is full, creamy, and harmonious. The finish is rich and exceptionally refreshing. A unique wine!Product details
