Truly incredible, truly incredible, what a superb white wine from the Loire. We're not alone in this opinion, as this Danielle de L'Ansée Sauvignon Blanc is the house wine of a two-star restaurant in... Unfortunately, we can't reveal which one it is, but we can shout from the rooftops how beautiful this white wine is. With our eyes closed, we imagined a beautiful Sancerre, which gives you a glimpse of how beautiful this wine is. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from a very old vineyard in the Loire. The thick trunks give the Sauvignon Blanc grapes truly unique qualities. This is partly due to the vineyards' location; thanks to abundant sunshine and cooler nights, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes ripen quietly and peacefully. The fresh breeze provides the grapes with just the right amount of refreshment during the warm afternoons. A unique climate where this wine truly shines.

The harvest of the Danielle de L'Ansee Sauvignon Blanc

At ideal ripeness, the grapes are brought in and rigorously sorted on sorting tables. Any bunches with imperfections are removed. This leaves only the finest bunches, which translates into the beautifully pure style of this white wine. Because the vineyard is located on the banks of the Cher River, in the heart of the Touraine appellation, the grapes possess a wealth of mineral qualities as well as beautiful fruit nuances.

The smell and taste of the Danielle de L'Ansee Touraine

As soon as the cap of this white Danielle de L'Ansée Touraine pops open, the beautiful aroma immediately rushes to all our senses. Lovely notes of Granny Smith apples, fresh mint leaves, citrus fruit, and a touch of grapefruit. As you pour, you'll notice a lovely light color with green glints, characteristic of a top wine from the Loire Valley. Swirl the glass, and this white wine will reveal even more aromas of boxwood, freshly mown grass, and minerality. The taste is characteristic of a Sancerre: beautifully crisp and dry with a richness of white and citrus fruit. Green apples stand out, supported by green herbs, minerals, gooseberry, and a touch of passion fruit. The finish is a lovely, crisp finish. This Danielle de L'Ansée Sauvignon Blanc also pairs well with various dishes, such as shellfish and goat cheese.
