The vinification process of Domaine de Vedilhan Syrah begins with the careful harvest of grapes from 40-year-old vines, where only the finest grapes are selected. After harvesting, the grapes undergo a first fermentation process in steel tanks, preserving the natural characteristics of the grapes. For some of the Syrah grapes, a second aging phase is initiated in oak barrels. This phase adds an extra dimension to the wine, integrating subtle oak notes with the rich fruitiness of the Syrah grape. After this aging period, the wines are carefully blended to achieve optimal balance and complexity.
