As reflected in the chapel, Château Haut Gléon has been occupied since the sixth century, its refined grandeur unfolding from the lush greenery of the valley in which it nestles, in the aromatic plumes of its wines. Its history is closely linked to that of the Languedoc and represents the most distinctive characteristics of the province: grape growing, as well as the Visigothic, Gallo-Roman, and medieval cultural heritage. This unique past, combined with exceptional soil and modern techniques, allows Vignobles Foncalieu to produce a range of wines that derive their natural elegance from troubadour poetry, delighting both connoisseurs and gourmets, from the most discerning to the epicurean. Since 2008, the estate has been committed to converting its vineyard to organic farming. Their wines are made with respect for tradition, with the grapes always sorted and selected by hand. Modern techniques are used for vinification. After manual harvesting, the Viognier and Roussanne grapes are pneumatically pressed in a cage press. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Finally, this white wine is aged for another four months in stainless steel vats.

This white wine has a delicate light yellow color. The aroma reveals a delicate aroma of pear, banana, and a very subtle hint of mint. The taste is superb and subtle, with wonderfully subtle notes of pear, banana, and a touch of citrus. It's an exceptionally full-bodied wine without being overly heavy or thick. The fresh finish completes this wine. It pairs well with a salad with fish and shrimp, fresh fruit, or soft cheeses.
