In 1933, the leading wine cooperative Cantina Valpolicella Negrar, a historic winery in Verona, was founded. In 1989, the company began an ambitious project to improve the quality of Valpolicella Classica through the selection of specific areas. This led to the launch of the Domini Veneti line, known for its excellent production of Valpolicella Classica DOCG and DOC, as well as other high-quality Veronese wines. Domini Veneti is a brand that stands for authenticity and refinement; an honest expression of a specific area, both geographically and historically. The Domini Veneti Pruviniano Lugana winemaking process involves careful selection of the grapes. Harvest takes place between mid- and late September and is followed by destemming and soft pressing. Fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius. The wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks and rests there for several months before bottling.
