Elegant Toro Albala wines

Bodegas Toro Albala was founded in 1922 and immediately focused on producing high-quality fortified and liqueur wines. The Pedro Ximenez grape was central from day one. And year after year, founder Jose Maria Toro Albala realized his dream. His wines are beloved worldwide, and some are among the most admired in the world. He always strived for the highest possible quality. It began with long-term aging of his wines, with the goal of producing more elegant wines than those of his competitors. It was a significant risk due to the economic crisis, but Toro Albala stood firm. This ultimately resulted in great success. To ensure the grapes develop their sweetness, the Pedro Ximenez grapes are sun-dried into raisins. This allows the grapes to acquire their rich sugar content. The grapes are then pressed in the winery and aged for a long time.
