Doppio Passo Puglia IGT Primitivo Rosato
An elegant rosé with deep roots in Apulian tradition. The Doppio Passo Primitivo Rosato is made from 100% Primitivo and owes its refined style to a brief cold maceration of the skins before pressing. This technique not only produces the delicate salmon-pink color but also the pronounced aroma of red fruit and subtle spice.
Vineyards and region
The vineyards are located in sun-drenched Puglia, where summery African winds create rapid temperature spikes and significant day-night variations. This climate promotes the concentration of aromas in the grapes and gives the rosé its fresh character and aromatic intensity. The region carries the Puglia IGT label, which guarantees quality and provenance.
Vinification and maturation
After a cold maceration of about 12 hours, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 16 to 18°C to preserve the fresh and fruity expression. The wine then rests in steel tanks at 17 to 18°C until bottling, without oak aging, which enhances the pure style.
