This red wine, made from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, is Dreams' newest wine. It, too, comes from the finest vineyards in Moldova. The driving force behind Dreams wines is Dr. Zenzen, a man no stranger to top-quality wines. The family had long dreamed of establishing a winery in the beautiful wine country of Moldova. After a long journey of discovery and extensive research, they found their fortune in the Stefan Voda region, specifically in the Cahul wine region. They were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the harvest and saw great potential. In recent years, they have invested heavily in the vineyards, modern winemaking techniques, and a new winery called Dreams. The wines were so good that the label boasts "Heaven Can Wait," because indeed, when tasting this red wine, heaven can certainly wait.
Completely hand-harvested for this Cabernet Sauvignon
The now mature vineyard is filled with the incredibly powerful Cabernet Sauvignon grape, which thrives in the Moldavian soils. The warm climate gives the grapes time to mature undisturbed. The rich soil structure gives the bunches sufficient strength, allowing the winemaker to create a refined and powerful red wine. After ripening, the harvest is entirely hand-picked, ensuring only the finest bunches are used in this red wine. Dreams wines are characterized by purity and smoothness.
Full and very powerful this Dreams Cabernet Sauvignon
We already knew this red wine from Moldova was a hit, but all our senses were fully awakened when we opened the bottle. The Dreams Cabernet Sauvignon immediately delivers a powerful aroma of cassis fruit, spices, and a touch of vanilla. In the glass, it transforms into a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, dark purple with a reddish sheen. Swirl the glass, and you'll notice a broad bouquet of aromas. We're thinking of cherries and blackberries, but also pepper, sweet spices, and a touch of stewed plum. On the palate, the initial attack is powerful with lovely soft tannins, abundant black fruit, and just the right amount of spice. The finish is long and very refined, with the berries and cherries being our most noticeable notes.
