The 2023 vintage in Languedoc has received an excellent rating of 94 points from Robert Parker. This indicates a very strong vintage that has produced opulent and high-quality wines.

Large, thick, old vines are planted in the Pays d'Oc, specifically around the cities of Montpellier, Narbonne, and Béziers. These ancient Cabernet Sauvignon vines are renowned throughout the region, and the Dumanet family is proud of them. And rightly so, because this red wine has a truly full and aromatic character, especially at this price point. Shhh, don't tell anyone. Thanks to the perfect position relative to the sun, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes receive plenty of sunshine. But coolness is also necessary for a fantastic harvest, and luckily, the wind blowing across the mountain provides some cooling. The harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon

At ideal ripeness, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested later in the season. Harvest begins early in the morning, still dark, to preserve the freshness of this Dumanet red wine. What does Dumanet's Cabernet Sauvignon taste like?

The moment you open it, you're immediately seduced. A beautiful, deep aroma of black fruit like berries and cherries, along with a touch of spice and cocoa. We can't wait to pour it. A beautiful deep red color with a purple sheen reveals itself, and we begin to swirl the wine. More aromas emerge, including coffee grounds, a touch of smoky aromas, and a touch of ripe jam. On the palate, it offers a soft and rounded flavor, with a strong emphasis on black fruit and ripe notes of chocolate, pepper, and a touch of spice. This Dumanet Cabernet Sauvignon is highly recommended.
