The success story of Weingut Leitz is a long and impressive one. The winery is already considered the "Grand Cru" of alcohol-free wines. The family winery was founded in 1744 and has been producing exquisite wines ever since. In 1964, Josef Leitz rebuilt the winery after it was destroyed during World War II. With extensive knowledge and experience, Weingut Leitz made great strides in pioneering and innovative wines. They started with a small vineyard of 3 hectares, which has since been eradicated, and now comprises 40 hectares of vineyards spread across the Rüdesheim areas of Schlossberg, Rottland, and Kaisersteinfels. Because demand for alcohol-free wines continued to grow, they launched a completely new line called Eins, Zwei, Zero.

In the summer of 2020, following the great success of Riesling wines, Weingut Leitz released a unique new blend called "Blanc de Blancs." Well, it doesn't have to be summer for this wine; it's a real treat to drink. The composition of this Eins, Zwei, Zero Summer consists of Silvaner, Weissburgunder, and Chardonnay bunches. And they complement each other perfectly, making it the freshest wine in the alcohol-free Eins, Zwei, Zero series. With only 24 kcal per glass, it's an excellent wine for when you can't drink for a while, or if you're on a diet and still want to enjoy a glass of wine. The vineyards for this Eins, Zwei, Zero Blanc de Blancs are situated on exceptional soils with abundant loess and clay, which gives the harvest its beautiful impressions. The climate, with abundant sunshine, cool winds, and falling nighttime temperatures, truly gives the bunches everything they need. The grape harvest here is truly phenomenal.

What does the Eins, Zwei, Zero Blanc de Blancs taste like?

As soon as the bottle is opened, we smell the aromas of summer fruit: fresh citrus, ripe apples, and tropical fruit make the first impression perfect. In the glass, this alcohol-free white wine is a clear gel with a green shimmer. It reveals the most beautiful fruit nuances, such as peach, lemon, grapefruit, red apple, and a touch of orange. The palate is tingling, with a richness of white and citrus fruit, interspersed with green herbs like mint. The finish is refined, crisply dry, and slightly sparkling.
