The soil structures for Cotes du Rhone Reserve Blanc
The Perrin family winery is located in the small town of Orange. The family has 325 hectares at their disposal and knows how to make the most of the local conditions. The grapes come from cool-situated vineyards. The soil consists of limestone and is highly varied due to the influence of water currents. It consists of calcareous clay and gravel. The philosophy is that you can make good wine by allowing the grapes to flourish in the best possible natural conditions. Nothing is left to chance.

The grapes are all harvested by hand, rigorously selected, and pneumatically pressed. Once in the cellar, they macerate for several days. This is followed by temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Afterward, the young wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks to partially undergo malolactic fermentation and mature. After 8 months of aging, the wine is bottled. What makes this wine so special is its enormous power, despite not being aged in oak. The entire process is meticulously managed, requiring regular tasting.
