Farina's flagship wine. The wine that perfectly captures Farina's character. Amarone makes many wine lovers' hearts beat faster. Amarone has been produced for centuries in breathtaking Veneto. It was only in the mid-1950s that it became an increasingly commercially important wine. Thanks to numerous innovations and investments, including those by the Farina winery, Amarone received a DOC classification in 1990. This was further rewarded in 2009 with the highest classification: the DOCG.
Farina's great success
Farina is a true Veneto winery. It masters all aspects of this wine region exceptionally well, including the production of Amarone, one of the winery's flagship wines. This Amarone has been a benchmark for the winery for years. Farina Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico is internationally acclaimed by wine lovers.
The King of Veneto
Farina Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico showcases the best of Veneto. The wine is made up of Corvina (50%), Corvinone (20%), and Molinara, Oseleta, and Turchetta (10% each). All the essential ingredients for a top-notch Amarone! After harvest, the grapes are first dried. Following vinification, the oak aging begins for a full 24 months. This is done 30% in French oak and 70% in Slavonian oak. The Amarone then matures for a long time in Farina's impressive cellars. Only after approval from the cellar master are the bottles released from the cellars.
