A pioneer in sparkling wines

The Ferrari winery was founded in the early 20th century by Guilio Ferrari. He wanted to develop sparkling wines comparable to top champagnes. Because Guilio had no children and therefore no successors, he passed the reins to Bruno Lunelli, an entrepreneur friend. Since Bruno Lunelli took the helm in 1952, the winery has only grown. Ferrari is a leader in Trentino, Italy, and the rest of the world. A fantastic producer of superior sparkling wines!

A top Chardonnay

Ferrari Perle is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Quite unique, especially in Italy. This is a country where people are fans of their own indigenous grapes. However, Guilio Ferrari, and later Bruno Lunelli, wanted to rival Champagne. Chardonnay is perfectly suited for this.

This Ferrari Perle matures longer in the cellars than, for example, the Ferrari Blanc de Blancs. Only the very best is good enough for the Ferrari cellar master. This sparkling wine remains in the cellar until explicit permission is obtained from that same cellar master. However, patience is rewarded. The aroma is breathtaking. You smell toasted oak, honey, fresh peach, and notes of vanilla. Your mouth is watering already! We took a sip and were speechless for a moment. So refined and elegant.
