Fevre is a well-known name in the Chablis region. They produce wines with character and exceptional purity. The Chardonnay grapes come from the hilly vineyards surrounding the village of Fontenay-Près-Chablis. The climate, soil structure, deep-rooted vines, and careful vinification result in a soft wine with added complexity. Deliciously fresh and fruity.
 The quality vineyards of Fevre
The Fevre family has a long history in the wine industry, dating back to 1745. The current owners of Domaine Nathalie et Gillis Fevre own over 40 hectares in Chablis, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Gilles focuses primarily on working in the vineyards, while Nathalie is primarily found in the cellar. Fevre's vineyards are located on high plains and steep slopes. The Chablis vines are planted on stony soil and are between 15 and 25 years old.

The grapes are carefully harvested at peak ripeness, with meticulous attention paid to their quality. They are then transported to the winery, where another rigorous selection process takes place. This is the only way Fevre can guarantee high quality. After destemming and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on the lees for 12 months. This results in a softer wine with added complexity.
The smell and taste of Fevre - Fevre Chablis
The result is a fresh and fruity Chablis. The nose reveals citrus, green apple, peach, and pear. It's a pleasant white wine that's nicely dry with balanced acidity. Plenty of ripe fruit on the palate and deliciously juicy. These fruity notes, interspersed with fine acidity, continue into the pleasant finish. Delicious as an aperitif, but also pairs well with oysters, shellfish, and grilled fish.
