Description
Saint André de Figuière is a family-run winery, helmed by Alain Combard, a passionate winemaker who leaves nothing to chance. Combard hails from Salon de Provence, a native of the region. This Magali Rosé, named after Alain's daughter, is made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. All the grapes come from the renowned Côtes de Provence rosé region, where the oldest and finest vines nurture this Magali Rosé. The vineyards themselves are a true gem; the rich soil structure, rich in limestone and gravel, provides the grapes with everything they need. But that's not all: because the roots are deeply rooted, the grapes are well-suited to the warm climate. The Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and little rainfall, allows the grapes to thrive. The fresh sea breeze provides the perfect cooling, making this Figuière Magali Rosé a top-quality Côtes de Provence wine.
The old vineyard of Figuiere
The grapes are grown with the utmost precision and skill. At ideal ripeness, the grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected. Only the finest juice should make it into the bottle. And they've certainly succeeded, because this Magali rosé is pure and very stylish. During the pressing process, there's light skin contact, giving this Figuiere Magali rosé its beautiful light pink color, typical of the Côtes de Provence. What does the Figuiere Magali rosé taste like?
The aroma is wonderfully soft with delicate hints of young red fruit and a touch of citrus. It finishes with a subtle spiciness. The palate is delightfully fresh, with notes of strawberry, cherry, lime, and a touch of blossom. The finish is a lovely long, crisp, dry finish.Product details
