Filarino Sangiovese Rosé, what a summery gem! This delicious rosé, made with Sangiovese, is the latest addition to the Nespolino winery. The name Filarino comes from the local dialect and means admirer—a great way to start a good conversation, right?!
Top quality Italian wines
Poderi dal Nespoli is located in the Bidente Valley, on the hills of Forlì, approximately 177 meters above sea level, an area that connects the Apennines with the Adriatic coast. The Bidente Valley is characterized by breathtaking scenery and, due to its unique layout, is very favorable for growing grapes. The valley is naturally funnel-shaped, allowing warm and cold air currents, as well as significant daily temperature changes, creating a perfect microclimate for optimal vine development. Founded in 1929, the winery is now managed by the Martini family together with the third and fourth generations of the Ravaioli family, combining extensive knowledge of grape growing and terroir with a visionary international business approach. The vineyards are all located close to the winery, in the hilly Romagna countryside.
Enjoy a tasty rosé from Poderi dal Nespoli
Italy isn't just a great place for food; the local wines in the Emilia-Romagna region are also highly praised. This Filarino rosé is made entirely from Sangiovese, a grape variety not often used in Rosé production. Yet, it's a perfect example for Poderi dal Nespoli. The light color of this rosé already suggests a lot. The aroma reveals delicious aromas of strawberries and raspberries, interspersed with delicate citrus notes, creating a delightful freshness. On the palate, this rosé is wonderfully soft and flavorful. Notes of cherries, violets, and a light citrus note predominate. The long, summery finish makes this rosé a true success. It pairs wonderfully with tuna sashimi or a nice salad.
