The Malbec harvest for La Linda
The grapes for this La Linda Malbec grow in the beautiful Lujan de Cujo region of Mendoza, Argentina's wine region. Leoncio Arizu, founder of Luigi Bosca, wanted to establish a special vineyard for Bodega Luigi Bosca to create a new range. He named this vineyard Finca La Linda, after the beautiful area. Initially, only Malbec was planted here, but several grape varieties soon followed. Thanks to the ideal soil composition, combined with the climate, he was able to produce perfect wines, including the La Linda Malbec. With this information, we can't wait to open the bottle.
Three months of wood for the La Linda Malbec
This Malbec has been aged for three months in American oak. This gives it its unique and very pleasant character. The color of this red wine is deep dark red. The aroma is a true Malbec! The wonderfully dusty nose, combined with aromas of cherries, blackberries, and also some light spice, chocolate, and cedarwood, creates a warm feeling. The taste is full, sultry, and even a bit overwhelming. The price-quality ratio of this red wine is positively off balance! What a full-bodied wine for this price. Wonderfully full and powerful nuances of black fruit, vanilla, spice, and subtle oak notes. The finish is full and long with lovely, pleasant tannins, just what we love about a Malbec.
