The success of creating beautiful wines began in 1996, at the origin of Finca Milena in the Castilla La Mancha wine region. The goal was to use old vines to create modern wines that emphasize purity and power. And so, many years later, they've succeeded. Finca Milena is known for its power and smooth red and white wines. This success is partly due to the pleasant climate of the old vineyards. Plenty of sunshine allows the Verdejo and Sauvignon grapes to ripen perfectly, but the bunches also need coolness. This coolness comes from the wind blowing through the vineyards, contributing to a calm growing season.

The harvest of the white Verdejo and Sauvignon

Finca Milena is also known for its small yields, as the vineyards are heavily pruned. This means there aren't many bunches on the vines, but the ones that can be harvested are fantastic. Crisp and fresh bunches are the result of a long growing season. Finca Milena begins harvesting the grapes early in the morning. Both grape varieties are brought in and vinified separately. The winemaker's expertise then follows, determining the precise blend and contributing to the consistent aroma and flavor of this white wine.
