Unique Cavas from Castell d'Or
Castell d'Or's Cavas are the result of over a century of dedicated work by the cooperative. Everything revolves around creating unique Cavas that reflect the land. They work according to traditional methods to create each Cava rich in flavors and aromas. The Flama d'Or label depicts a vine rising from the earth like a fiery flame. This image symbolizes the origins of the grapes, their deep roots in the soil, and their potential to develop into a variety of grape varieties. When these diverse grape varieties are blended, unique and special wines and Cavas are created.
Flama d'Or Cava Brut is produced according to the traditional Cava method, with meticulous attention to every detail. The process begins with the separate harvest and fermentation of each grape variety. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, during which sugar and yeast are added, and the bottles are stored in underground cellars at a constant temperature of 15 to 17 degrees Celsius. For over 12 months, the Cava matures in the bottle, undergoing a second fermentation and developing its sparkling character and complexity.
