Franc Lizêr Traminer 0.0% is a refreshing alcohol-free white wine from Friuli, produced by the innovative Lea Winery. This wine offers the floral elegance of Traminer, combined with modern technology that ensures maximum aroma preservation without alcohol. The result is a light, pure wine with character – perfectly in keeping with its name: Franc Lizêr literally means "free" and "light" in Friulian.
Vineyards and region
The wine comes from the Lea Winery estate in Friuli Venezia Giulia, an area with a rich winemaking tradition and cool Alpine influences. All grapes are grown on the estate's own vineyards, 17 hectares of which have been certified organic since the 2022 harvest. The rest of the estate is in transition to organic production, entirely under the supervision of its own winemakers.
Vinification and maturation
After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The alcohol is then removed using a patented membrane technique. This process takes place at room temperature, without heating, so that the aromas, structure, and color are fully preserved. Only the alcohol is extracted; the rest remains untouched.

Franc Lizêr Traminer is pale yellow in color with a fresh nose of apple and white flowers. On the palate, it is lively, supple, and round, with a beautiful balance between fruitiness and elegance. Serve at 8 to 10 degrees Celsius with shellfish, seafood risotto, or light fish dishes.
