Located in the picturesque village of Brugairolles, the name "Chemin de Moscou" tells a unique story. Its meaning, taken from the "Name Cadastral" of the vineyards surrounding the winery, refers to the "Road to Moscow," a path that invites you to discover this unique wine. Every sip of Gayda Chemin de Moscou reveals its deep, robust character.

Gayda Chemin de Moscou: Perfection through Passion and Tradition

At the foot of the majestic Pyrenees, in the heart of the Languedoc, the Gayda winery shines. In 2004, Tim Ford and Anthony Record joined forces with the talented winemaker Vincent Chansault, thus beginning the magic of Gayda Chemin de Moscou. A visit to the winery reveals a blend of state-of-the-art technology and timeless winemaking traditions. Here, where respect for traditional grape varieties is paramount, the grapes are grown organically, with yields deliberately kept low. The result? Numerous awards and an ever-growing appreciation for their top-quality wines, such as Gayda Chemin de Moscou. The unique Gayda Chemin de Moscou blend is created from 72% Syrah, 22% Grenache, and 6% Cinsault. Each of these grape varieties originates from unique terroirs, contributing to their distinctive character. What makes this wine even more special is its 21 months of oak aging. After separate fermentation and nine months of oak aging, the finest barrels for each grape variety are carefully selected for the final Chemin de Moscou blend. But the process doesn't stop there; this blend then enjoys a further 12 months of aging.
