Natural wines from Gayda

With a great passion for traditional grape varieties, the grapes are grown as naturally as possible on the many different, partially organic vineyards. The goal is to achieve 100% organic production in the future. Gayda aims to make beautiful wines from just one grape, such as this exceptional Syrah. To achieve this, they combine Syrah from Roussillon with grapes from La Livinière in Minervois. The winery uses state-of-the-art equipment, yet wine is produced using traditional methods. The entire vinification process is closely monitored and tastings are performed continuously. This is the only way to achieve high quality, resulting in exceptional wines. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand to ensure that only the finest grapes are selected. A short fermentation on the skins follows at a low temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. This way, the wine preserves its fruit and freshness. A third of the grapes undergo carbonic maceration, fermenting the whole grapes under pressure to extract more fruit. The winemaker takes his time to develop a beautiful red wine. Finally, the wine is aged for six months on lees.

The fruity aromas of Gayda T'Air D'Oc Syrah

The T'Air d'Oc Syrah reveals a deep red color in the glass, with delightful aromas of red fruit and a hint of spice. It has recognizable Syrah notes of white pepper, graphite, and dark plums, with a good balance of acidity and tannins. A spicy finish with a hint of raspberry and a touch of vanilla concludes.
