Graham's Port LBV

Graham's Late Bottled Vintage Port. Late Bottled Vintage, or LBV, is a Port from a single, usually exceptionally good, vintage and must mature in casks for a minimum of four and a maximum of six years. Specifically, bottling must take place between approximately March 1st of the fourth year and December 31st of the sixth year after the vintage. Both the vintage and the bottling year must be stated on the bottle.

This Late Bottled Vintage from Graham's is, as the name suggests, from a beautiful port year. This "big boy" has a deep, dark red color and an aromatic bouquet of black currants, mint, and flowers. The flavor is rich and sweet, beautifully balanced with soft tannins. Traditional. Unlike a Vintage port, there's no sediment carried over into the bottle, preventing further development. This beautiful red port lends itself perfectly to pairing with pure, intense chocolate or fine cheeses like Cheddar and Manchego.
