The color is deep red and very dark, indicating a full and ripe Côte du Rhône. This is also reflected in the aroma, which offers notes of ripe black fruit, marinated strawberries, light spices, and delicate aromas of pepper, cedar, and licorice. The palate presents lovely recurring notes of black fruit and spices. But it also offers more surprising impressions of nuts, vanilla, blueberries, and ripe, sweet herbs.
