This delightful Heritage Brut Tradition is a sparkling wine from Marc Brédif in the Crémant de Loire region. With its majestic cellars in the heart of Touraine, Marc Brédif has been one of the most renowned estates in Vouvray and Chinon since 1893. When Baron de Ladoucette took over the estate in 1980, he breathed new life into the centuries-old winery, preserving its traditions. Today, Marc Brédif continues to produce top-quality Vouvray and Chinon wines.

The beginning of the Marc Bredif winery

Despite the company's size, quality is paramount to the owners, as anyone who tastes and enjoys the wines can see. The estate has a long and colorful history, having been founded in 1893 under its original name, Château Les Roches. In 1919, Marc Bredif took over from his uncle and renamed the property. His focus was simple: to forge an unparalleled reputation for excellence among the Loire Valley estates. His hard work paid off, and the Domaine's reputation grew rapidly, both domestically and internationally. This was largely built on the renown of its sparkling Vouvray, known as one of the finest in the region.

Vinification of Marc Bredif wines

No oak is used in the vinification of Bredif wines to respect the freshness of the grapes and the terroir. Marc Brédif's cavernous cellars are among the largest and most beautiful in the appellation. The cold and damp caves, dug deep into the hillside, offer exceptional storage conditions for wine. The aroma offers a beautiful bouquet of white fruit and hints of citrus, minerals, and spring blossom. The palate is exquisite, with lovely soft bubbles, plenty of ripe fruit, and notes of lime and minerals!
