The grapes are harvested late and at peak ripeness, and come from a single, exceptionally good parcel of the company's own vineyards in the Valle de Ocon. The powerful Conde Valdemar Edición Limitada Rioja from Spain is a cuvée made from the Maturana Tinto, Graciano, and Tempranillo grape varieties. After harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press room. Here, they are sorted and carefully cracked. Fermentation then takes place in large barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 14 months of aging in new French oak.
