A Rosé wine from the South of France

While the first thought was of a Cotes de Provence Rosé, Ivaty Gris Rosé Mineral is truly a wine from the Languedoc. It's produced by Vignerons de Saint Saturnin, a winery that has been active in this region for centuries. They began producing olive oil in the 9th (!) century, but have since focused entirely on viticulture. Saint Saturnin's vineyards are located in four villages: Arboras, Jonquières, Saint-Guiraud, and Saint-Saturnin de Lucian. Altogether, the winery owns a whopping 760 hectares. They plant several grape varieties. However, only one grape variety is important for Ivaty Gris Rose Mineral: Grenache Noir. While Grenache Noir is often blended in rosé wines, Ivaty demonstrates its ability to produce excellent rosé wines on its own.

What does Ivaty Gris Rose Mineral taste like?

To achieve this sensational rosé, every effort is made. For example, after the harvest, an unconventional method is applied: the Methode Saignée. This is rare and is actually only used for the world's finest rosé wines. This method ensures that only the finest sap is used in the wine. This creates the impressive aroma and flavor of Ivaty Rose Gris Mineral. The aroma alone is enough to make us swoon. Elegant, friendly, and wonderfully fresh. Small red fruits play with your senses. A touch of fresh peach and grapefruit completes the palette. The flavor is surprisingly intense: red fruit easily interspersed with the crisp acidity. Grapefruit is clearly present. The finish of Ivaty Gris Rose Mineral pampers you with nuances of pomegranate and red berries.
