Fortunately, Kendall Jackson's top wine, the Camelot Highlands Chardonnay, is back. What a party with streamers and balloons! The Chardonnay grapes grow in the Santa Maria Valley wine region, where the weather conditions are so favorable that they chose to make this Camelot Highlands Chardonnay from it.

The perfect location for Kendall Jackson

Kendall-Jackson is one of California's youngest and most prominent wineries. For over two decades, Kendall-Jackson has been producing refined wines in California. The success of the winery, founded in 1974, is partly due to the perfect location of its vineyards. The grapes are sourced largely from California's cooler coastal regions, where they are given ample time and space to develop their rich aromas and flavors. The winery operates with great respect for nature, using alternative methods to minimize the use of chemical pesticides. Rainwater is collected in reservoirs to irrigate crops, and packaging and promotional materials are recycled. The grapes come from Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara Country vineyards at high altitude on rocky soil. The vines have survived here for over 40 years on a prehistoric seabed. This is truly a terroir wine. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand, followed by a rigorous selection process. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, giving the Chardonnay more body. It is also aged on lees, which adds body and extra flavor to this white wine.

The aroma and taste of Jackson Estate Camelot Highlands Chardonnay?

This is clearly noticeable in the aroma, with lovely notes of tropical fruit, apricots, mango, hazelnuts, and vanilla. The taste is typical Chardonnay, full-bodied and creamy with a thick texture. Numerous fruit nuances of apricots and yellow plums complemented by notes of cinnamon, lemon syrup, and vanilla crème brûlée create an appealing experience.
