The traditions of Jose Pariente

The Jose Pariente winery is located in the heart of the Rueda region, at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level. Here, the soil is stony, and the vineyards are influenced by a harsh continental climate. José Pariente's history dates back to the 1960s, when the father of the current winemaker, Victoria Pariente, began producing artisanal white wines from grapes of exceptional quality. With this tradition in mind, the winery continues to produce high-quality wines. Innovation is also a top priority, utilizing the latest technologies to achieve the best results. The Grenache Noir and Tempranillo grapes are harvested separately. The Grenache grapes come from an old vineyard in Pedrosa del Rey, planted in 1945. The Tempranillo grapes come from vineyards in Mucientes, planted in 1960. At the winery, the grapes are pressed directly without maceration. The juice is then fermented. After this, the wine is aged on the lees for several months to develop additional flavor and texture.

The blend is surprisingly good. The light pink color is immediately noticeable when pouring this Victoria Rose. The wine has a remarkably fruity aroma, characterized by notes of strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, peach, jasmine, and roses. On the palate, it's exceptionally smooth. The flavor is well-balanced with a delightful freshness. The finish is subtle, with fruity notes that linger on the palate.
