The multi-purpose Kiwi Cuveé wines
The Cabernet Franc Rosé is marketed by the trading house LaCheteau. They produce several very popular house wines, including this Kiwi. The name suggests it originates from New Zealand, but nothing could be further from the truth. Production takes place in the Languedoc region, but it is inspired by New Zealand winemaking methods. The Kiwi Cuveé brand was founded in 2001 to combine New World techniques with the nobility of French terroirs. The house wines in the Kiwi Cuveé series are versatile. They are delicious as an accompaniment to a delicious meal, but also perfectly suited as a single wine at a party or reception.
To produce this beautiful series, quality is paramount. Every effort is made to obtain the finest grapes. Therefore, the best grapes from several vineyards across the country are selected and vinified together to create a delicious wine. After the harvest, another rigorous selection process takes place, during which the quality of each individual grape is checked. The grapes are then destemmed and gently pressed. The juice ferments at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius in stainless steel vats. Finally, the wine is also aged in stainless steel.
