A playful Pinot Noir from the Kiwi Cuveé house wine series. Like all wines in this series, this one is easy to drink with all the hallmarks of a Pinot Noir. Numerous fruity flavors are enhanced by an accessible palate. Definitely worth a try.
Key player in wine production
The Kiwi Cuvée brand was founded in 2001 to combine techniques and flavors from the New World with the nobility of French terroirs. A French brand with a New World twist. During his extensive travels, our oenologist was inspired by New Zealand wines and winemaking techniques. Maison Lacheteau, located in the heart of the Loire Valley, has established itself as a key player in Loire Valley wine production. Recognized for its expertise and the quality of its terroir, Lacheteau offers a complete spectrum of exceptional still and sparkling wines spanning all regions of the Loire Valley, from Pays Nantais to the vineyards of the Centre.
To produce this beautiful series, quality is paramount. Every effort is made to obtain the finest grapes. Therefore, the best grapes from several vineyards across the country are selected and vinified together to create a delicious wine. After the harvest, another rigorous selection process takes place, during which the quality of each individual grape is checked. The grapes are then destemmed and gently pressed. The juice ferments at a controlled temperature and is then allowed to rest.
A soft and fruity Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir is a soft and fruity red wine with a medium body. It has a hint of sweetness, which makes it so incredibly appealing. The aroma is filled with playful red fruit notes of cherries, berries, and strawberries. These fruity notes are also evident in the palate, complemented by a touch of sweet spices like vanilla. The tannins are accessible, velvety, yet refreshing. Try this red wine with sweet and sour pork stew, Thai chicken curry, or spicy sausages like chorizo or salami.
