The success story of the Josep Masachs winery is a whopping 100 years old. In 1920, it was Josep Masachs who founded the eponymous winery. Initially, it was purely for his own benefit. He loved wine and produced it in Vilafranca del Penedes for himself and his family. He was a pioneer in the field of still wines. Over the years, he acquired more and more land, and after decades, he handed over the reins to his son. He happily continued his hobby but turned it into a profession. The first sparkling wines became a reality and were released with a beautiful label. The winery continued to grow and was passed down from generation to generation. Today, the fourth generation is at the helm and continues to expand with innovative techniques. The Tempranillo grapes for this La Chita Kikazaru Red are carefully harvested at peak ripeness. Once arrived at the winery, the grapes are sorted on the sorting table. Only the best grapes are pressed for juice. This is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, after which the wine is allowed to age. Finally, the wine is bottled, and we can enjoy this young red wine.
