A cheerful and young white wine from the Josep Masachs winery. It's developed based on the concept of the three wise monkeys, a symbol we know in Europe for hearing, seeing, and speaking no evil. A method that helps us filter and prevent evil from being passed on. And that's the goal of this wine: to ensure we eliminate all the bad and focus solely on the positive.
The 100-year success story of Josep Masachs
The Josep Masachs winery was founded in 1920 by the eponymous Josep in Vilafranca del Penedes. At the time, he was one of the pioneers of still wines, producing them primarily for his family and for personal consumption. Over the years, he acquired more vineyards and handed over the reins to his son. He took over his father's hobby and turned it into a profession. The first sparkling wines became a reality and were released with a beautiful label. The winery continued to grow and was passed down from generation to generation. Today, the fourth generation is at the helm, and they continue to expand with innovative techniques.
The blend for this white wine consists of Macabeao and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are harvested and vinified separately. A strict selection process takes place in the winery, with only the very best grapes pressed for juice. A temperature-controlled fermentation follows, and after the necessary rest, the wine is blended and bottled.
A tropical white wine from Josep Masachs
La Chita Mizaru white is a light straw yellow in the glass, with green hues visible upon close inspection. Its many aromas leap from the glass, with distinct aromas of tropical fruit and ripe stone fruit. On the palate, it offers an explosive flavor with a delicate creaminess. The medium acidity balances the fruity notes. The finish is balanced and pleasantly long. An ideal wine to enjoy on its own or with cold dishes like salads.
