Our range is a new sensation. We are so delighted with this sparkling wine from Italy. And what a sparkling it is! This beautiful wine comes from the La Gioiosa winery. This winery specializes in crafting the finest sparkling wines. It is located in the heart of the Prosecco region, in the Veneto wine province. From the renowned town of Valdobbiadene, the finest sparkling wines leave the La Gioiosa cellars. This same town is also the only one permitted to use a DOCG classification for Prosecco.

Glera, the grape for prosecco wine

The Glera grape plays a prominent role in La Gioiosa Frizzante. And that's not entirely coincidental. The Glera grape is planted on hundreds of hectares of vineyards in Veneto, the renowned wine province in northern Italy. Its popularity is entirely due to its use in prosecco wines. Besides the Glera, La Gioiosa Frizzante also uses Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio grapes. This gives La Gioiosa Frizzante a slightly deeper flavor than other proseccos from this region.

We only recently added La Gioiosa Frizzante to our range, but we're already secretly huge fans of this beautiful sparkling wine. When the sun breaks through, it's time to savor this sparkling wine. The refinement your senses discover is majestic. Aromas of soft white fruit like pear and apple give La Gioiosa Frizzante a subtle flavor. The mousse is almost velvety, so incredibly smooth is this prosecco. In the finish, we discovered a pleasant, typically Italian, bitterness, making La Gioiosa Frizzante the number one thirst quencher.
