La Villette Grenache Syrah Mourvedre

La Villette Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre is aged for an extended period in French and American oak barrels, each grape variety selected. Only later is the perfect blend created to ensure all the flavors are perfectly balanced. The entire blend then undergoes several months of oak aging to bring the wine to a more mature state. The color is an intense deep red, almost black. The aroma offers a wonderful balance of black fruit, spices, and some floral notes. The taste is truly fantastic. Thanks to its perfect balance, this wine truly has everything you could wish for: power, suppleness, and class. Beautiful nuances of berries, licorice, spices, and vanilla. Tannins are present but pleasantly smooth. The finish is intense, rich, and yet very smooth.

La Villette made from three grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre

We can no longer imagine our winery without La Villette, and neither can the La Villette Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre. The name La Villette has a wonderful history. La Villette is an old Parisian neighborhood from which all of Paris was once supplied with wine and food. This was done by boat or horse-drawn carriage. The label of this delicious wine also refers to this. The river on which the boats sailed with supplies is depicted on the label. La Villette wines are made using the Vin de France label. This means that grapes from different regions may be blended together. La Villette Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre is a wonderful, true Mediterranean blend. The ratio consists of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre. The grapes for this red wine come from vineyards located at the foot of the Pyrenees in southwestern France and from vineyards along the Mediterranean coast. This ensures perfect diversity.
