Bodegas LAN was founded in the early 1970s in the renowned Rioja wine region. The name LAN is an abbreviation of Logrono, Alava, and Navarra, the three main regions of the Rioja DOC. Despite its short history in winemaking, Bodegas LAN has built an impressive reputation thanks to its innovative techniques and use of the region's finest vineyards. This combination allows them to produce exquisite wines that honor Rioja tradition while simultaneously being innovative. The Verdejo grapes are sourced from their own vineyards at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. LAN also imports Verdejo grapes from other suppliers, which they then blend with their own. The grapes are grown on pebbled soil. When the grapes are optimally ripe, they are harvested at night to keep them cool. Fermentation begins immediately in the winery at low temperatures before pressing, preserving all the aromas.
