This crisp, dry Italian wine is the result of a careful vinification process involving four different grape varieties. The well-known Trebbiano, Tocai Friulano, Garganega, and Malvasia grapes form the basis of this Italian white wine. And each grape variety lends its own distinctive character to this juice.

The innovative winery Cantine Lenotti

The renowned Cantine Lenotti winery was founded in 1906. It now enjoys an excellent reputation in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Lenotti is located in the famous wine village of Bardolino, west of Lake Garda. The vineyards benefit from warm days and the cooling influence of the lake, a characteristic that is reflected in the refreshing wines Lenotti produces. Innovation is also a key element at the winery, and in 2005 they completely renovated and modernized the vinification process, barrel storage, and bottling facility. For example, Giancarlo Lenotti (patrician and oenologist) is now able to use significantly lower amounts of sulfites in the bottling facility. The positive result is that the wines retain their original aromas right through to the glass. The grapes for this delicious white wine come from the hills south of Lake Garda. The different varieties are vinified separately after a short maceration on the skins. They are then blended and further aged in stainless steel tanks.

The scent and taste of Lenotti Custoza

On the nose, this Lenotti Custoza has hints of pear and plenty of citrus fruits like lime, lemon, and lemongrass. This fresh style carries over to the palate, wonderfully refreshing with notes of gooseberry, citrus, and passion fruit! This dry, refreshing wine is delicious as an aperitif or with drinks. Paired with food, it pairs well with salads, hearty fish dishes, a light risotto, or other light pasta dishes.
