The history of the Bourdic winery goes back almost 100 years. In 1928, it was a handful of winegrowers who wanted to join forces. By working closely together, they could produce better quality wines. It proved successful. Today, the Bourdic winery consists of no fewer than 100 winegrowers, spread across ten municipalities in an area northeast of the university city of Montpellier. Their close collaboration gives them extensive capacity and expertise. This results in high-quality wines such as Les Collines du Bourdic Chardonnay.
The Chardonnay in the French vineyards

There's one grape so well-known that it's incredibly popular no matter where you go in the world. No matter which wine region you're in, Chardonnay holds a prominent place in the vineyards. The grape originates in Burgundy, an iconic wine region located much further north. Since then, Chardonnay has spread its wings and established a presence all over the world. It's no wonder Bourdic has planted a large acreage of this international all-rounder. They're located in the hilly landscape surrounding the city of Nîmes, in one of the best locations Bourdic has at its disposal.
Impressions of Les Collines du Bourdic Chardonnay

The region where the grapes grow is truly perfect. The sun shines brightly in this part of France. Because the vineyards are relatively close to the Mediterranean Sea, they also receive plenty of coolness. A fresh sea breeze blows through the vineyards, especially at night. This is beneficial for the growth of the Chardonnay grapes. The result is this white wine from Les Collines du Bourdic, a classic Chardonnay that every wine drinker will enjoy. The aroma and flavor are fruity yet complex. Aromas of white peach and soft tropical fruit blend perfectly with hazelnut and a hint of butter. The palate is full-bodied yet fruity. This makes this Bourdic Chardonnay a delightful everyday glass of white wine.
