Rioja wine from Spain
Phew, speaking of beautiful wine regions, Rioja is perhaps the most impressive region in the world. It originated when Bordeaux winemakers fled the phylloxera. But it has grown thanks to its own talent. Spanish wines are built on Rioja wines. Many wineries have a long history where craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation, a fact clearly evident at Bodegas Leza Garcia.
Spanish wines from Bodegas Leza Garcia
For almost a century, grapes have been growing happily in the vineyards of Bodegas Leza Garcia. For many years, this was done on a small scale. While very successful, unfortunately, availability was limited for a long time, meaning that not everyone could enjoy the top quality that Bodegas Leza Garcia achieves. Fortunately, the Leza Garcia family decided to professionalize the winery in 1994. Thanks to these innovations and investments, we can now enjoy the wines of Bodegas Leza Garcia.
Order Leza Garcia Rioja Garnacha Crianza
One of the latest sensations from this Rioja house is Leza Garcia Rioja Garnacha Crianza. It's not made from Tempranillo, which normally dominates Rioja vineyards, but from another Rioja staple: Garnacha. The grapes for this Leza Garcia wine come from a unique vineyard located at an altitude of 600 meters in the Rioja Alta subregion. After harvest, the grapes are fermented not in stainless steel, but in new oak barrels. The wine is then aged for another 12 months in barrels that are partly American and partly French. The result: an incredibly intense wine full of character.
