The story of winery A6mani
The A6mani winery is run by three women, Elise Clerfeuille, Francesca, and Maria Cavallo, who share a passion for winemaking. Together, they focus on using local grape varieties, including Negroamaro, to produce expressive red wines. The vines are grown on clay and limestone soils, where they adapt to the dry and warm climate of the Apulia region. These unique growing conditions result in full-bodied, dry wines with distinctive flavors.
This red blend wine is made from the Malvasia Nera, Negroamaro, and Sangiovese grape varieties. In Apulia, they enjoy optimal conditions. The vines are deeply rooted in the clay and limestone soil, which already contributes to their excellent characteristics. The grapes are selectively harvested and then taken directly to the winery. Here, they are selected and carefully separated. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This process is concluded with several months of aging on the fine lees.
