Powerful yet elegant, soft yet structured. That's the best way to describe this Lohsa Mandrone. Mandrone di Lohsa is a wine made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, with small but decisive additions of Petit Verdot and Carignano. These varietals are essential for giving the Mandrone its distinctly Mediterranean character of sun and spice, making it unique and recognizable.
Delicious quality wines from Poliziano winery

Under Federico Carletti at the helm, the winery underwent a revolutionary transformation. From his youth, Frederico had been unhappy with the company's business practices. Like many other wineries, Poliziano sold its wine to large bottling companies, who used it to refine weaker wines. Carletti vowed to change this system upon taking office and transform Poliziano into a true winery, producing and bottling its own wines. He knew for sure that this required expertise. With the necessary knowledge and practical experience, he elevated the winery to a higher level and today produces exquisite, high-quality wines.

The climate of the Tuscan coastal region of Maremma is ideally suited to growing grapes of Bordeaux origin. Previously, local regulations prohibited these grapes, forcing the wines to be downgraded to the lowest quality level. It is aged for a year and a half in oak, followed by a further six months in bottle, before being released. This Poliziano wine is sunny, powerful, and elegant.
