Luca Chardonnay

The vines for this superb Chardonnay from Mendoza were planted in 1992. At the time, it was the first Chardonnay to be planted at this altitude in this magnificent wine region in Argentina. The vineyards for Luca's Chardonnay are located at an average altitude of 1,500 meters around the renowned town of Tupungato. Producing Chardonnay at this altitude and at this peak is no easy feat, but we can confidently say that Luca has more than succeeded. A first-class wine, with so much complexity, depth, and excitement; every sip is a delight. A wine so complex, so deep, and so exciting that every sip is incredibly good. It's almost astonishing how the Luca winery can create such a beautiful glass of Chardonnay for this price.

The aroma and taste of the Luca Chardonnay

Pour it into your glass, and its beautiful light golden color and enticing aromas will leave you thirsty. Pleasant notes of citrus and herbs complement the nose. We also detected a hint of minerality. The palate is balanced, thanks in part to its 12 months of oak aging. White peach, subtle nectarines, and a dry, almost stony mineral flavor delight your taste buds. The flavor of spiced and baked pears is also clearly present. A unique, complex taste that makes this Luca white wine unique.
